P R O F I L E

Braden & Mehta is an interior design firm based in Hawaii and New York City. Partners Jill Braden, ASID and Geeta Mehta, AIA began their association in 1992 with a series of commercial and residential projects in Tokyo, Japan.  Jill has managed the practice in Hawaii since 1995, while Geeta has continued work in Japan and New York.  In 2011, Jill started a partner firm, Outdoor Spaces, collaborating with Hale Tropical Living, for the design of outdoor living areas and landscaping, utilizing Hale Tropical’s extensive network of suppliers in Indonesia to offer custom architectural products.    www.outdoorspaceshawaii.com

The work of the firm is marked by their distinct contemporary blending of classic western style with modern Asian and Polynesian elements. Our goal is to create timeless environments imbued with a sense of grace and harmony unique to each client’s personal history and interests.

Consultant to Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) for master planning and development guidelines for the Park  

• SAVOY APARTMENT PROJECT , NEW YORK CITY

Designed and supervised renovation of apartments in midtown Manhattan Space planning, structural design, kitchens, baths  

• O’NEIL RESIDENCE, MAKENA MAUI

Designed and supervised furnishings for new construction for 5000 sf home, including design and production of architectural millwork, doors, cabinets (5 baths, kitchen, built ins, outdoor kitchen) and designed and produced numerous custom furniture items  

• WEBER RESIDENCE, LANIKAI, KAILUA HI

Collaborated with James Cutler Architects on new construction Furnishings, finishes, lighting, fixtures and appliances, swimming pool and landscape design for 5000 sf home
